Wireless Broadband Internet
Broadband Internet access (often shorted to broadband) is a high data rate Internet access - typically constructed with dial-up access over a 56k modem.
Dial-up modems are limited to a bit rate of less than 56 kbps and require the full use of a telephone line - whereas Broadband Internet supply more than double this rate and generally without disrupting telephone use.
Various minimum bandwidths have been used in definitions of Broadband Internet, ranging up from 64 kbps up to 4.0 Mbps.
Apart from standard Broadband Internet connections we also provide hotspots, wireless access points as well as wireless and cabled networks.
Our current network stretches from Cape Town along the coast to Knysna (N2), and reaches north as far as Ladismith, Calitzdorp, Oudtshoorn and Uniondale.
